Frequently Asked Questions
I am very fearful about dental treatment, what options do I have for treatment? Most of our fearful patients are treated in the office using local anesthesia for pain control. Using this modality, it is extremely unlikely that you would feel anything at all during treatment. If you desire, you may utilize nitrous oxide (laughing gas) in conjunction with local anesthesia to help you relax psychologically during treatment. In addition, your dental treatment can be performed in the office with sedation by a physician anesthesiologist or in a hospital with general anesthesia. |
